    Altec Pro?

Did a Syracuse craigslist search for Altec and this result came up as "nearby". When I googled "Altec Lansing building Milford, PA" the Altec Pro website was the first two results. Just wondering, is this building a Sparkomatic location or is it the old Altec Pro location (or both or neither?)? I thought a flea market in the Altec Lansing building sounded too good to be true---and as you can see from the description of the items being offered--it was!

    Barkomatic

BTW the real Altec was never known as Altec Pro, that also was Barkomatic

We are pretty much down to "Voice of the PC"

The real Altec was in California and later OKC

That's the old Sparkomatic location, but I think that the building that used to house them burned down - it started mysteriously. Shortly thereafter, "Altec Lansing Technologies" emerged. Hmmmm.......

At any rate, the place where they were building aftermarket shifters is surely gone...

Didn't stop them from being a shifty company.

The fire I have heard was exaggerated and simply an excuse not to support old product.

    Is Diversified Concecpts still around???

They use to be the only Altec dealer in the Syracuse area some 30 years ago.

All I remember is that Phil retired maybe 20? years ago and sold to someone who'd been with him for years. Ha...I remember he had a radiator mounted in his barn that was fed from a stream with a water pump in the summer...I heard it worked pretty good!
